Launched as recently as March,2010,this joint venture between IRCTC & Coxs & Kings is the epitome of luxury train travel in India
As you traverse through India on the Maharajas' Express, have the best indophiles, celebrity chefs and guest lecturers shed light on its history and capture the essence of India while you devour it.

Facilities On Board
There are total of 14 Passenger Saloon/Wagon cars with five carriages for Deluxe Cabins, six for Junior Suites, two for Suites and one for grand Presidential Suite. All passenger Cabins come with individual temperature controls, & other state-of-the-art facilities viz.. LCD televisions, DVD players, direct dial telephone and internet, to name a few. The power supply, of the Maharajas' Express is equipped with 110/230V sockets. Every cabin also has its own electronic safe deposit box..Each carriage is manned by a single butler, on call 24 hours, trained to meet the needs of esteemed guests.
There are two dining cars of 42 seater each,where Wines and beer are served complimentary during meals Guest can unwind in the exotic Safari bar with the choicest collection of house brands of wines, beer and spirits with snacks come complimentary to every passenger.There's also a lounge cum bar Raja Club with comfortable club arm-chairs and a high-end boutique featuring exquisite and unique creations.

Most excursions off the train are by air-conditioned coach for Deluxe Cabin & Junior Suite passengers and by private cars for Suite & Presidential Suite passengers; however, certain excursions are also undertaken by jeeps.

6 Nights: Classical India train Tour ex Delhi
Departing from Delhi on Sunday Morning from Delhi,This tour circuit on Maharaja Express train covers UNESCO World heritage Site of Taj Mahal;Gwalior Fort;Sand stone cenotaphs of Orcha;Kama Sutra temples at Khajuraho;Bandavgarh Tiger reserve;3000 years old-living city of Varanasi;City of Nawabs-Lucknow;before returning back to Delhi next Saturday morning.

An additional supplement will be levied on certain departures which offer special interest excursions, signature events and special guest lecturers.

• Train tour will operate subject to minimum booking of passengers on that train journey.


Train Tour Cost Includes:
On board stay & travel, all meals, mineral water, juices, soft drinks, house brands of wines, beer and spirits, all sightseeing including entrance fees, guides, tour managers, still camera fees (not professional camera) and cultural program

Extra Costs (Not Included):
laundry, telephone calls, gratuities, liquors, all alcoholic beverages apart from house brands of wines, beer and spirits, video, films and professional still camera fees and any other items of personal nature.

Terms & Conditions:
Booking Procedure
(i) We require the names & nationality of all the passengers with passport details & present contact address details
(ii) Booking will be confirmed on receipt of minimum 25% of tour amount
(iii) Balance payment must reach us atleast 65 day before tour depart
(iv) Booking request made < 65 days notice before tour depart , will be confirmed on receipt of full 100% tour amount

Payment Options:
• By online credit card Authorization or
• Swift wire transfer/e-transfer through bank or
• Cheque/Draft payable in new Delhi.

Cancellation Rules:
(a) Any changes requested to your confirmed bookings must be made in writing.
(b) The requested changes, be it name change or date change will be treated as a fresh booking where confirmation will be subject to availability.
(c) All bookings confirmed are non-transferable and will invite a cancellation charge as applicable.
(d) 25% of Published Tour cost will apply as cancellation fee,if request made 95 days prior to depart date
(e) 50% of Published Tour cost will apply as cancellation fee,if request made between 89 to 65 days prior to depart date.
(f) 100% Cancellation fee of total tour cost,, if request made <65 days prior to depart date.
