About Royal Rajasthan On Wheels Train
After successful run of Palace on Wheels over 25 years & limited seats availability;need was felt to introduce an additional palace on wheels train over similar Rajasthan Circuit.The Royal Rajasthan On Wheels train was introduced in Jan,2009 & offers rich interiors in traditional Rajasthani Style.The twin bedded Deluxe cabins are much bigger in size & you also have the option to book Super Deluxe Cabins with Double beds.
There are two retro lounges & soon expected is a Spa saloon.The Train is a joint collaboration of Indian Railways & Rajasthan State Government.

The 7 nights train tour departs from Delhi on Sundays & covers best of Rajasthan with Kama Sutra Khajuraho temples & Holy Ganges at Varanasi,but missing out on Desert town of Jaisalmer.You have option to book Jaipur/Delhi 4 Nights part journey etc also

Day to Day Train Tour Program Synopsis
Day 1: Sun; DELHI Depart
Report by 4.30 p.m. at Delhi Safderjung Railway Station for traditional welcome & check-in formalities
Depart by 6.00 p.m.

Day 2: Mon: JODHPUR
Welcome to the grandeur of Mehrangarh Fort Palace complex,atop a hilltop & largest residential Palace Hotel Complex of Umaid Bhawan.

Day 3: Tues: UDAIPUR & CHITTOR
Morning visit City Palace complex,overlooking famous Lake Palace Hotel & later enjoy boat ride in Lake Pichola.
Evening drive up to massive Chittor Fort complex,spread over long plateau.

Day 4: Wed: RANTHAMBHORE & JAIPUR
Morning drive through jungles of Ranthambhore Tiger reserve.
Afternoon visit former Royal Capital of Jaipur,famous for it's Elephant ride at Amber Fort Palace & semi-precious stones.

Day 5: Thurs: KHAJURAHO
The erotic Kama Sutra temple complex is an UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 6: Fri: VARANASI & SARNATH
Excursion to UNESCO World Heritage site of Sarnath,where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon.
Time free on banks of Holy ganges river,in one of the ancient living towns of Modern world-Benares Or Varanasi.

Day 7: Sat: AGRA
Welcome to the city of The Taj Mahal-one of seven wonders of modern world.

Day 8: Sun: DELHI Return
Return to Delhi by 5.00 am 7 option to check-out by 0715 hrs after early breakfast.
