About Indian Maharaja Train
Since October of 2009,the Deccan Odyssey train,jointly owned by Maharashtra Govt & Indian Railways has been chartered by a leading Indian Tour operator-Travel Corporation of India to operate on a different 7 Nights Delhi /Mumbai & vise versa circuit.The onboard services are managed by Taj group of hotels
Facilities On Board
There is option to book fully furnished Deluxe Cabins & Presidential suites.there are Two dining Cars,One Bar Lounge & small library with business centre facility.Also available is mini gym and aryuvedic spa facility.Some of your meals have been arranged in Palaces & Luxury hotels.As standard practice in other luxury trains,the excursions & sightseeing are arranged in Air conditioned buses with common guide(silver Plan) However,guests wishing to have private guides are booked under Gold Plan & also provide exclusive A/c vehicle. The Guests travelling in Presidential suites are booked on Platinum Plan,with private vehicles for sightseeing & exclusive guide services.

Day 1: Wed: DELHI Depart
Report at Delhi Safderjung Railway station by 630 p.m. for check-in formalities. Train departs from Delhi by 830 p.m.
Day 2: Thurs:AGRA:
Feast your eyes on beauty of Taj Mahal & later visit 16th century built Fatehpur Sikri,one of first planned Mughal Dynasty City in red sand stone
Day 3: Fri: JAIPUR
The 16th century built Amber Hill Fort Palace offers one of unique amalgamation of Mughal & Rajput style of Architecture. The rulers of Amber,built the Pink City Palace of Jaipur in mid 18th century,based on the Hindu science of architecture-Vastu Shasta.
Day 4: Sat: RANTHAMBHORE
The former hunting preserve of Maharaja of Jaipur,is today one of the better managed Tiger Reserves in the country with it's tigers made famous by numerous coffee table books with extensive photographs.
Day 5: Sun: UDAIPUR
The City of lakes Or often referred to as "Venice of east" also offers numerous Palace,over 300 years,most of which have now been converted into hotels, the most famous being "The Lake Palace hotel" constructed on a small island in middle of Lake Pichola.
Day 6:Mon: ELLORA
Behold the fine craftsmanship of rock-cut temples at Ellora,sculpted out of hills continually over 400 years & now declared an UNESCO World heritage site.
Day 7: Tue: AJANTA
The wall frescoes at Ajanta Cave UNESCO world heritage site,date back more than 1500 years.
Day 8:Wed: MUMBAI Arrive
Tour ends on arrival Mumbai VT Railway Station,Fort check-out by 830 am after early breakfast.

• We require Name/Nationality/Passport Number of client with non-refundable advance deposit of USD 1,000 per person
• Balance payment: 65 days before departure date,with passport details
• Any booking request made less than 65 days notice before train tour depart; will be confirmed on receipt of full tour amount Payment Options
By Online credit card authorization or Swift wire Transfer Cancellation Fee & terms:
(a) Minimum US$ 1000 cancellation fee per person will be charged if tour cancelled more than 61 days prior to departure
(b) 30% of ticket value if cancellation informed between 60 to 46 days prior to departure.
(c) 50% of ticket value if information received between 45 to 31 days prior to departure.
(d) 100% of ticket value if intimated less than 30 days prior to departure
(e) amendment in name of passenger or request for change in journey date will be governed by cancellation rules
(f) Disputes, if any, subject to jurisdiction of New Delhi,India courts(only)
